Zachary Taylor Parkway Commission Begins Major Planning Effort 02/26/2015 »

Exciting news!

In response to the “RFP for Planning Consultant,” the Zachary Taylor Parkway Commission has engaged N-Y Associates and their partners TMG Consulting and Urban Systems to draft a Scenic Byways Master Plan, Traffic Study, and Economic Development Plan for the Parkway. This is the Parkway’s first major planning effort in five years. The Commission has received funding through the Office of Community Development Disaster Recovery Unit to facilitate this project, which will be completed by October 2015.

	Announcement of Public Presentation for Master Plan Update The Zachary Taylor Parkway Commission, as part of their regularly scheduled quarterly open meeting to be held July 8, 2015, at 10:00 am at the Cottonport Camp at 1055 Old River Road in Mansura in Avoyelles Parish, will hear a presentation regarding the ongoing planning process for the transportation corridor.

	RFP for Planning Consultant The Zachary Taylor Parkway Commission has issued a RFP seeking a professional planning consultant to evaluate and update its Master Plan and to develop a Corridor Management Plan.
